- : [can you say ancient? :-) ]
-
- Most of what I've seen on Aminet will work with my A1000 - though I've since
- moved up to an A3000
-
- : b) right-to-left and left-to-right word processor with free mixing in one
- : document
-
- There is a Word Processor produced in Israel that allows you to freely mix
- various right-to-left/left-to-right languages and fonts. There is a demo
- on Aminet called Rashumon. the company is:
-
- HarmonySoft
- 69 Jabotinsky St
- Givatayim 53319
-
- : c) scsi interface and harddrive "cheap" for Amiga 1000
- : [preferably located in Israel, Montreal, Calgary or Toronto]
-
- These aren't easy to come by anymore - I just sold my old one. Check
- comp.sys.amiga.marketplace for possible sales
-
- : d) what is the address of Fred Fish PD software base on the Internet?
-
- Aminet has really superceded Fred Fish. Try ftp.wustl.edu (128.252.135.4)
- or ftp.netnet.net (198.70.64.21)
-
- : e) Workbench version 2.0 patch disks (or files) for the Amiga 1000
-
- You'll also need a rom switcher. WB 2.0 won't work with the old kickstarts.
- DKB makes/made a rom switcher that can be installed on an A1000
-
- : f) Character recognition software for A1000
-
- : g) Hebrew fonts
-
- Again, see Rashumon. It does Hebrew fonts
-
- : h) Anything else which comes to mind after you read the above list
-
- You'll need some sort or memory addition too. 512K isn't going to be enough
- to run WB 2.1. You might also consider moving up to WB 3.1 as this is the
- latest available
-
- : Thank you very much for your helpful replies.
